You're in for a Treat

Paris is symbolised by the Eiffel Tower. Who has not seen a picture of its tall beams towering over the Champ de Mars? Constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair, Gustav Eiffel’s wrought iron lattice tower is probably the most visited paid monument in the world. When built the Tower, standing at 324 metres (1,063 feet), surpassed the Washington Monument and became the tallest man-made structure in the world. Now, excluding additional transmitters, the Eiffel Tower is the second-tallest structure in France. You have three towers has to explore, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level's upper platform is the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union. Taking a day to explore this famous structure is rightly on most tourists’ to-do lists.
