You're in for a Treat

Where can you indulge in nature in the big city? Paris has a number of gardens, but Le Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil gives you a real taste of nature. It is a botanical garden set within a major greenhouse complex, and you can imbibe the greenery by entering at 1 Avenue Gordon-Bennett. Louis XV first oversaw the construction of Le Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil in 1761. Today's greenhouses were shaped and perfected in 1895-1898. Now, you can have a wander through greenhouses with more than 100,000 plants that are used as additions to spruce up many public buildings. The exhibition greenhouses contain palm trees, succulents, and tropical collections. It’s a great place for a relaxing breath of fresh air – perhaps invite your Globego host.
