Located between the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower, the palace that houses the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris provides you with access to a wealth of artistic creation from the 20th and 21st centuries. It is a testament to dynamism of the contemporary artistic scene set in classic example of French architecture. The permanent collections present all the main artistic trends from the beginning of the 20th century up to the present day. This is where you need to go to see Picasso, Dufy, Modigliani, Derain, Picabia, Chagall, as well as Boltanski, Parreno and Peter Doig. Marvel at the first and incomplete version of La Danse, by Matisse, and Raoul Dufy’s huge masterpiece La Fée électricité. It’s open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5.15 pm) with free entry to permanent collections. It is unquestionably one of the key institutions of Parisian cultural life
