Clothes and Pop Up Markets

You're in for a Treat

There are so many markets on in Paris, and some are ideal for fabulous clothes shopping. For example, you can pop down to the Flea Markets at Saint-Ouen (Avenue de la Porte de Clignancourt, 75018). Known as the largest market in Europe, the mighty Marché Aux Puces, or flea market, is actually 14 separate markets in one. Here you’ll stumble across high end vintage designs, home decor, antiques, and other niche clothing. Covering fifteen acres, an estimated 150,000 people visit the market every weekend. Or, why not try the Hôtel Bohême (71 Rue de la Fontaine au Roi, 75011) for organic produce, recycled treasures, and things you can’t find elsewhere. Or, invite your Globego host to the Marché de Montreuil (Avenue du Professeur André Lemierre, 75020). Montreuil is a bargain-hunter's dream, where hidden under the piles you’ll find vintage Yves Saint-Laurent stilettos and wonderful bunches of vintage clothing.
