You're in for a Treat

Is there a drink more French than cognac? The lord of all French spirits, true cognac goes hand in hand with French culture. Only French brandies from the AOC region of Cognac, made by a strict procedure, may be properly called Cognac. You simply can’t compare cheap substitutes or alternative brandies. Usually wrought from the Ugni Blanc grape, true cognac is made in copper pot stills and aged in French oak for at least two years. Armagnac, made from essentially the same varieties of grapes, is distilled only once, while Cognac is distilled twice. Try the small producers from the Cognac region and enjoy a truly historic and unique spirit.
